THATS A WRAP

Over the weekend of the 4\5th of October 2025 we ran the final round of the 2025 KMSC Bike race series, All champions have been decided and the curtain has closed on a spectacular season.

Early Saturday Morning there was a storm brewing and it wasnt on the track this time, As predicted 60mph winds were coming over the weekend the teams and riders were at the mercy of the elements as many of there awnings and set ups were challenged by the intense storm Amy as she roard into town, Saturday morning the riders took to the track and batteled the elements in tricky windy conditions with a tail wind up the main straight and a head wind down towards the hairpin the add a different element to the rest of the season so for.

Early morning sessions saw a few riders trip up into the gravel a few times but mainly we were running well to keep to schedule despite the weather.

Saturday was business as usual for Lewis Paterson who qulified well as always with the dominating power of his TPR (Team Paterson Racing) Suzuki GSXR but closely followed by the BMW M1000RR of the Carneigie Fuel Bruce Birnie. The races were spectaclar as always however a slight gear selector issue for Lewis saw his Second race end in the pits as a small bolt had come loose ending that one allowing Bruce Birnie to take the win however Lewis had already sown up the title and also his 200th race win earlier in the day.

Supersport was a less close fough affair with Jon Dickie ending his racing career with a dominant 4 race win over the weekend in a different class from the rest of the field an outstanding result and we will for sure miss that Yamaha flying round the circuits that for sure.

CB500s as always a busy and hectic 10 and 12 lap race thoroughout the weekend. Dominated all season Troy Jeffrey was unstoppable until the front wheel of his CB500 locked into clarks causing him to end his race in the gravel uninjured he got a lift back to the paddock and was back out in the Lightweights in the next race. The races were all action with Finn Chalk and Fraser Mutch having a superb battle in every race for the reminder of the weekened as Troy was no longer able to take part after his Race 2 incident.

Lightweight class once again dominated by Troy Jeffrey all season and his team mate Ritchie O Neil both having a great year but this weekend we threw in a new comer, One to watch for the future is Kian McDonald who join in witht this event this weekend and a brilliant racer managed to take it to the Stiggy Motorsport Aprillia of Ritchie O Neil and they had some epic battles throughout the weekend. 2026 will be a spectacular season with kian and Ritchie being the front runners for next season as Troy will be stepping up.

Pre Injection 600 class is always one to watch, Busy frantic and spectacular close racing with all the bikes being very similar it always produces a wonderful race, Champion Ben McKluskey had a great season but this weekend he had some feirce competition and even an unusual fall in the trecherous conditions leaving some of the other riders to have some of the spoils of winning.

300 Class and Newcomers was dominated by Kian all season and this weekend was a very low entry for the little bikes and hopefully 2026 we will see the grid grow with new and upcoming riders who can start there journey into bike racing as Kian steps up to lightweight.

What a spectacular season we have had at the KMSC this year. 2026 can only be better with what is predicted to be a close fought battle in all classes as riders step up from lower classes and look to further there careers. We will be there to document it all and take you along for the ride. Our resident videographer CMC-Images was once again there to caputre all the action and you can see that video below as he braved the wind and rain to capture this fantastic footage.

SEE YOU ALL IN 2026.
